Hi,
I've finally decided to ask for help
I am struggling with the OpenVPN client on Ubuntu (I am using the command line, not the Network Manager). I've got to the stage where the VPN connects fine (to HMA server), I temporarily disable the firewall (I will get to the iptables config once I can get it going), I get a new ip address and I can ping out fine. I start a browser, and can sometimes get a couple of Google searches done, then bang, I lose connectivity. Ping stops, web browser hangs, but VPN still appears active in terminal window. Re-starting client gives consistent behaviour. As you can probably tell, I'm no expert in networking...
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation..............
