Alright I will do that tomorrow, since I'm not at work anymore and I can't try that from home. :?

Well I tried now for two days, but nslookup can resolve the hostnames without any problems:

Code: Select all

Standardserver: RT-N56U.ho.me
Address: 192.168.0.1

> server.ho.me
Server: RT-N56U.ho.me
Address: 192.168.0.1

Name: server.ho.me
Addresses: 192.168.0.3
          192.168.0.4
Even if I can't access my routers webinterface anymore, if I wait long enough it even becomes accessible again even without reconnecting.
So it's probably just a problem with the connection as it seems, in the server log it sometimes drops packets.

The forum has no attachment function so I can't attach the log here since it's about 1MB..

Here is the part from yesterday, strangely today there were no packet drops, but I also didn't have any DNS resolving issues.
So probably these packet drops are the cause for the DNS resolving problems?
I thought that it might be the IP reset of my router, but that wasn't the case since the times are different.

Code: Select all

I've replaced duplicate lines with ---snip---, else this post would be 203867 feet long. :D
