Ipad Pro "open in" missing for importing profile

Post by itguysav » Fri Nov 13, 2020 2:52 pm

On the Ipad Pro I do not have the option to choose OpenVPN Connect in the "open in" once I download the .opvn file.
Does anyone know of a solution for this issue? It works on the Ipad non pro edition.

No, I'm not talking about an Android. When using my Ipad 8th gen, I uploaded the ovpn config file and was able to choose "open in" and OpenVpn Connect was an option. I choose it and everything worked correctly. On my Ipad Pro 12.9 4th Generation I followed the same procedure but the "open in" option for OpenVPN Connect isn't an option for me to choose.

the way apple control how to manage file different so it very hard to import into openvpn profile . you need sent all openvpn config file to your email and open it from that or you need to install file explore somewhere and use share to drop file , either way not easy for you if you dont know how to do it
