OpenVPN-Client (2.5-rc1) under "Windows 10" does not ask for passphrase for private key
Hello, I have an issue with a new OpenVPN-Installation.
When I connect to my OpenVPN-Server with the OpenVPN-Client (Version 2.5-rc1)
under "Windows 10" I am not asked for the passphrase for the private key.
If I use the same private key + certificate under a "Ubuntu 20.04" I am asked for the passphrase
which I have to enter then.
Under "Windows 10" I can connect to my OpenVPN-Server withour entering the passphrase of
the private key. What is the reason for that and how can I fix it?

The GUI can save the password.

Yes, but it never asked for the passphrase.

It is probably already saved from your previous installed version.

Oh, okay.
Is it possible to delete the saved passphrase?

Hi TinCanTech, I solved the problem.
I deleted the stored passphrase in the registry after I read the instructions at the following link:
https://superuser.com/questions/1365829 ... d-password
Thanks for your help.
