Create subnet on the fly

Hi guys,

I have an OpenVPN working, It has one subnet, but i want to add some subnets more without restart the service. There is some way to add a subnet without shutdown the subnet is working?

can you please explain in more detail what do you mean by telling "add more subnets"?.

yes i can explain.

I have a virtual net created with OpenVPN, the subnet that I created is 10.10.10.0, and it's working ok...it connect a network with some machines through this network.

Now I want to add dinamically some subnets more for connect other networks and machines...

Can I do without shutdown the service...with some script??

if you mean that the virtual network is the tun0 interface then
you cant add more subnets...

but you can have 2 or more openvpn configs in the same server
(using different protocol/ports).
