Post-Auth script to check for Anti Virus app
I am looking for a post-Auth script that will check the local Windows client machine for a specific Anti-Virus program before allowing the end user to establish a VPN connection. I am NO Linux guru and could use any help with a script and install instructions. Thank you in advance.

Well according to this, it can be done. Was just hoping to not have to reinvent the wheel.

I would be more than happy to pay someone, you, to create the script for me if you can do it. I gave you my number yesterday it the other post. If interested, call me. I am in PST time zone.

What you seek is far more than a script.larry.deeder wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 12:39 amI would be more than happy to pay someone, you, to create the script for me if you can do it.
You are, in fact, asking me to publish a working mechanism which replicates the behaviour of a Paid-for and licensed product .. some might rightly and probably call that Copyright infringement.

What? I pay for OpenVPN. Querying the local client for an existing software install would be Copyright issue. I don't think so. Please see: https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resource ... -examples/
Under the heading: "OpenVPN Access Server Post-Auth Scripting" it states: "Verify that the client machine contains up-to-date applications (such as virus checker and other security software) before allowing it to connect to the VPN server."
Go down to the section "Host-checker query file."
This is what I want to implement.

Exactly, that is an Access Server mechanism. And probably has a copyright .. and you want somebody to do that for the free version of openvpn. And you do not understand what it is you are asking for. So, just use Access Server like a normal person.larry.deeder wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 5:41 pmOpenVPN Access Server Post-Auth Scripting" it states: "Verify that the client machine contains up-to-date applications (such as virus checker and other security software) before allowing it to connect to the VPN server

I use the PAID version of AS. I have spoken to support and they said they cannot help me but I am free to do. If you can't help, no point in engaging further. And so you know, "normal" people customize it ALL the time.
