Updates on Openvpn appliance

Hi all,
I'm downloading the Openvpn appliance. From the feature list, it's very exciting. I can't wait to try it.
However I want to ask:
How the update process goes if there is security vulnerability announced? I read that it's based on Debian. Does it receive updates from Debian or from Openvpn.

by appliance i think you mean access-server, if you do you need to get support here:

this is the forum for the community version (aka http://openvpn.net/download )
