How to sign my own TAP driver?

Post by mokk » Thu Dec 30, 2010 2:43 am

OpenVPN is an outstanding software! More than that it works! As expected! OpenVPN's authors have done an excellent work!
Unfortunately, this forum is almost dead as I see, 'cause many threads are to be replied.
However, I have a question too.
It's amazing that OpenVPN can be built from sources - this allows to be sure everything works as you have planned.
But there's one thing I couldn't achieve - I couldn't sign the tap driver.
Could you help me? If it's possible, of course.
Could you publish a cdf file you use with MakeCat to create a catalog file (tap0901.cat)?
And could you drop me a hint where I can get a simple instruction of signing drivers?

Thank you in advance.
PS: I'm very sorry for my terrible English. :(

not likely
what do you need to edit in the tap adapter's sources?
