Dual Encapsulation: IPSec over GRE

Has there been any discussion to code functionality for IPSec over GRE? I need this ability but can only find it through Cisco and Juniper.

This is OpenVPN forum...
I gloomily came to the ironic conclusion that if you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.

I understand this is an OpenVPN forum. That's what I use. Just wondering if Dual Encapsulation may be on the roadmap or not.
