AD Domain membership

Post by hpservertech » Tue Dec 31, 2019 6:23 pm

Wondering if openvpn has the ability to allow access only if the device is a mber of an specific AD domain? I know it will allow users based on group membership, but looking to restrict access only to devices that are joined to our domain so users can't use their personal computer to connect to the vpn.

I don't know how to do that with OpenVPN. You could use the mac address locking script maybe, and keep a record of computers with specific hardware addresses that are allowed to connect.
I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
