OPENVPN ON RASPBERRY PI3

Post by Mikelosat » Sun Dec 08, 2019 7:06 pm

Hi, I've finished installing the PiVPN version on my Raspberry Pi3. I wanted to understand if it is correct to configure the file "DHCPCD.CONF in the following way: https://i.imgur.com/jiMjw9n.png

I added the "tun0" parameters to the "wlan0 and eth0" parameters as well.

I ask if it is correct to set "tun0" as I did.

We don't support PiVPN here.

Configuring tun0 in dhcpcd.conf is not supported by Openvpn because the tun0 gets setup by the openvpn config file.

I don't understand what the problem is, PiVPN is always based on OPENVPN the working principle is the same.

We don't support PiVPN because people who use it do not read our documentation,
they just expect it to work.

Also, your question has nothing to do with either PiVPN or openvpn.

I have answered your question already.
