is Openvpn 2.3 still secure?

iam gonna use my new router with openvpn but it only support openvpn 2.3.2 so its kinda old.. is that still safe and secure and worth using?

It's ancient yes.
However, depending on configurability it can possibly still be configured to be safe enough.

And off coarse you miss all the new things OpenVPN has to offer.
