Verify Error on High Sierra 10.13.6

Post by Nino.H » Thu Jan 03, 2019 11:02 am

Hello everyone

I am using Tunnelblick as an Open VPN for a while, but after not using it for 2 weeks I tried to log in and got the following error message:

2019-01-03 11:53:48 VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=format error in certificate's notAfter field: C=li, L=Eschen, O=Alenis Network, CN=fw.alenis.local, emailAddress=it@*********
2019-01-03 11:53:48 OpenSSL: error:14007086:SSL routines:CONNECT_CR_CERT:certificate verify failed
2019-01-03 11:53:48 TLS_ERROR: BIO read tls_read_plaintext error
2019-01-03 11:53:48 TLS Error: TLS object -> incoming plaintext read error
2019-01-03 11:53:48 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed

does anybody may has an idea why ?

I tried to change the settings and also delete and re install the application and also all the files related to Tunnelblick.

I do not understand what the error is about.

Thank you

Best regards and a happy new year to all

VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=format error in certificate's notAfter field
There is something wrong with your certificate.

I don't know what is wrong with it except that there is an error in the notAfter field.

I would make a new one ..
