Route port or domain name outside VPN

Hi,

I know you can route IP outside the VPN but I was wondering if its possible to route either port or domain name outside the VPN?

I am using PLEX server and it is not working with my VPN so I need to either route port 34000 or domain plex.tv so it does not go thru the VPN.

Since PLEX is using AWS and the IP change often its not really possible to route IP.

You did take the time to look up --route in the manual , right ?
