One solution to get OpenVPN working nicely with Windows 10

Post by Dr_Henrik » Wed Oct 17, 2018 8:55 am

I have been struggling a few days getting my OpenVPN working properly with my Windows 10 machine. The solution that did the trick for me was to disable the IPv6 protocol for my network adapters, now the tunnel works like a charm again. Is there anyone here who may have an idea why IPv6 may conflict with the tunnel? It was working fine all along with my android phone.

IPv6 takes priority over IPv4 .. If you don't need IPv6 then disable it, as you have done.
