OpenVPN Connect App Not Working After Android Oreo Update
Guys! I've been using the OpenVPN Connect App on my phone (MI A1) for a while now. It was working just fine with Android Nougat. But when I updated to Android Oreo 8.0 today as now I am trying to open the app it is only loading a blank screen on its startup and simply closes itself after few seconds. How do I fix it??

Re: OpenVPN Connect App Not Working After Android Oreo Update
Hi, I might have a similar issue: Oreo 8.0.0 and OpenVPN 3.0.3 - I can connect to my QNAP NAS via 4G mobile data but then I can't reach to any computer in my local network (every IP address reports timeout) , and in addition my internet access is dead, every app on the smartphone says I'm not connected to the internet. Disconnect from VPN and I have internet again..

Re: OpenVPN Connect App Not Working After Android Oreo Update
Hello, I still have this issue .... OpenVPN connects successfully to my QNAP - but it cannot talk to any computer in the VPN network, it seems that the routing does not work. I have a HTC U11 with Oreo 8.0.0. I tried different ovpn config files (well-working files which came from my desktop PC/OpenVPN or from my previous smartphone) but I cannot make it work.
Is there perhaps any "network security" setting in Oreo I'm not aware of - which prohibits VPN.
I found some articles in the Internet about VPN issues which are supposed to be fixed with Oreo 8.1 (which is not yet available from HTC)
thanks
