Noob - Server on Synology NAS client on Android

Hi, Im trying to setup OpenVPN, I setup the VPN server on my NAS, opened the firewall on my NAS and opened the 1194 port on my router for UDP traffic.

I exported the configuration to my PC, copied the 'ca' and 'openvpn' files to my android phone into the downloads directory.

I then used Import > Import Profile From SD Card > Download > openvpn.ovpn > select

Profile Imported
enter the Username & Password

I then get stuck at OpenVPN: Looking up DNS name and it goes to OpenVPN Connection Timeout

Questions: Does the openVPN profile contain the dynamic DNS for my Synology NAS, if not how is that set?
I have multiple user accounts on my Synology NAS, are they all valid for login?
I imported the ca certificate, now my android phone says my connection is monitored by Synology even though I cant connect via VPN , is that normal?
How do I get this working?
