NOOB Question about changing DDNS provider

Post by cbr954rr » Tue Apr 08, 2014 4:30 pm

I apologize for what I think is going to be a very simple question.

I am currently using DYN.com for my DDNS services but since they have just informed me that in 30 days the service will change to subscription only, I am changing DDNS to NOIP.com.

My questions is, when I make the change, do i have to create all new certificates for the server and the clients or is there an easy way to just make the change for the DDNS change?

I am quite sure the answer is I have to create all new certificates but wanted to ask just in case as this stuff is somewhat new to me.

Thanks to any and all that can set me on the correct path.

Thanks debbie10t for your answer. Much appreciated.

After I posted the question, I started going over what it takes to create the keys and discovered the only place the DDNS address was listed was in the client config file. So I put two and two together and realized all that was needed was a change of the config files and then upload the new configs to my devices/computers.

Thanks again.
