Several instances with own configs on an Access Server

Post by bobele » Tue Oct 01, 2013 3:18 pm

Dear OpenVPN Support Staff

We are currently using two older SuSE hosts together with openvpn to let our customers connect to us. Our customers are allowed to choose between four available client ip's. Depending of their chosen client ip, we are letting them connecting to a specific openvpn instances which provides the specific ip. Each instance listens on a specific UDP port.

We would now probably move to your Access Server appliance. Howewer, it is not 100% clear to me if such a multi server configuration is possible on a Access Server. I did read about the multi-deamon mode, but I did not read about specific openvpn instances together with seperate configurations on a Access Server. In my opinion the multi-deamon mode cannot fullfill this requirement (which is rather a loadbalance feature to me). Is there any way to build such a configuration on a Access Server?

Thank you for your help

Best regards
