Hi there!
I have downloaded the OpenVPN Connect for iOS from the Apple Store. It works well for all apps running on the phone; however, when I tether the phone to my laptop (be it through WiFi/Bluetooth or USB), my tethered laptop's traffic is not carried (tunneled) through the OpenVPN Connect client.
Is there a setting I need to enable to get tethered traffic tunneled through the OpenVPN Connect client?
I am using an iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4, OpenVPN Connect 1.0 Build 47
Thanks for your help!

Re: Tunneling tethered traffic
Hello
After almost 3 years, no answer?
Is it possible to transmit the tethered traffic through the OpenVPN tunnel?
Regards
Patrick

Re: Tunneling tethered traffic
First with your Laptop connect to the hotspot on your phone.
Then start OpenVPN App on Laptop.
For Android 5.1 or up use OpenVPN for Android from Arne Schwabe.

@ Pippin: thanks, but it does not work on my iPhone, the tethered data goes directly into internet, not through the tunnel.
