iPhone & iPad connect fine but laptop has handshake issues

I can connect to my OpenVPN server from my iPhone, iPad and laptop from most places. However, at work the laptop does not connect after getting stuck on logging in. The log reports "TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds." I originally figured work was blocking some kind of traffic that prevented the negotiation. I later tried to connect from work via my iPad and iPhone and they both worked fine. Now I am at a loss to figure out what the issue is. All three devices are using the same configuration and certs.

Any ideas?

this could very well be your work that is blocking openvpn traffic - the OpenVPN Connect client works slightly differently and hence is not always detected by firewalls.
