Help with OpenVPN appliance ESXi 4.1

Hi

Firstly my apologies but i've tried following all the documentation and video's on how to configure openvpn but have been so far unsucessful at least as a solution for remote routing and access.
Hopefully someone could give me some pointers on what i'm missing

I have 2 standalone ESXi servers and would like to replicate the differences between host A and host B over a vpn
connection. It is my understanding the openvpn appliance will do the same job as remote routing and access. I'n brief I'm trying to avoid the use of adding a separate VM DC just to provide DHCP

The openvpn solution looks promising.....

Q: as per a ppt connection I need to add the external ip address of the router somewhere , I'm not sure how this is done ?

maybe I have misunderstood the capability of this product ?
