Hello everyone!
I am new to OpenVPN and OpenSSL and seems to need some help.
Have tried to check the changelogs and here on the forum for an answer but haven´t been able to find one.
During the steps of making own certificates i run into some problems.
After doing following steps from cmd in windows server 2012:
init-config
vars
Clean-all
I get a warning when running "build-ca"
The message say:
"WARNING: can´t open config file: //etc/ssl/openssl.cnf"
Since I´m new to OpenVPN and dont know much of OpenSSL I would like to know how to solve this.
I dont like the idea of ignoring the warning and just continue, is there anywhere I can read about this kind of warning?
If not, is there a friendly soul out there that could explain to me what the warning is about and how to solve it?
Best regards/
Peter

Re: Openssl warning in openvpn-install-2.3.0-I001-x86_64.exe
After some looking into the bat files i saw the reason for why it said like it did.
Solution:
Look into vars.bat and check where the path is pointing towards for the openssl-1.0.0.cnf file and change it to whereever you have placed it.
This thread can be closed since it isnt a problem anymore.
Thanks!
