OpenVPN and TMG 2010

Post by Chrisnetika » Fri Oct 19, 2012 2:18 am

I have a vps with TMG 2010 on it and OpenVPN 2.3 server.Before I installed TMG I had openvpn working while in bridge mode, this so openvpn clients was able to reach dchp server on lan and get proxy.pac via option 252 and it was working like a charm .. untill I installed TMG :/.
Question is.. does anybody know how to set TMG to work with openvpn?

Using 2 adaptors
WAN = External Network
Bridge = Internal Network(loopback + tap-bridge)

Before TMG 2010, OpenVPN was working. Refer to Microsoft TMG's manual for help on opening incomming ports and configuring tun acces.

You had OpenVPN working before installinf TMG, so TMG is responcible for blocking ports as does all firewalls. So read the TMG's manual on how to open incomming port for OpenVPN (bridge or route). A few knows about TMG.
