initial password change for users

Hi,

I'm looking for an option to have users change their password themselves.
I only found this next topic, which describes using ssh by an enduser to change his/her own password:

However this will not be a feasible solution for our users since they do not have a ssh client and/or possibly some unhandy awkwardness towards command line interfacing.
Are there any other options?

We're using an OpenVPN AS (VM appliance)
Ubuntu, Linux 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
Access Server Version: 1.8.3
