OpenVPNAS server: site-to-site ?

Post by dragoneye777 » Mon Jun 04, 2012 9:40 am

Hi all,
trying to setup a site-to-site configuration, with details as follows:

Site A:
Static WAN IP from ISP x.x.x.x, LAN: 192.168.1.0/24
OpenVPNAS 1 IP: 192.168.1.210
Gateway: 192.168.1.254

Site B:
Static WAN IP from ISP y.y.y.y, LAN: 192.168.2.0/24
OpenVPNAS 1 IP: 192.168.2.210
Gateway: 192.168.2.254

Each site has its own OpenVPNAS Server v.1.8.3 on Hyper-V virtual appliance (on Windows 2008 R2).

I read this:
http://openvpn.net/index.php/access-ser ... -site.html

but it does not make much sense to me :-S

Any help will be greatly appreciated !

Thanks in advance.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Sorry I don't have an answer, but I've been struggling with this for about a week now.

Unfortunately, a lot of things I've seen are titled how to setup a site to site, but when you start reading them, the content and 'how-to' is really bad.

If you find anything, please let us know. If I find something, I'll let you know here. :)

What you want to archieve? You installed OpenVPN AS server on both sites, which awauts for incomming connections. OpenVPN AS appliance is a server side, you have to use OpenVPN client on one site to connect them tighether.
