Hi guys,
I have always used the same openvnp configuration for accessing my company files.
I already istalled the same config in different laptop I used.
Today I'm making the migration from my old laptop to my new one BUT the config doesn't work at all
(what I did: download openvpn, installed, installed my keys and config files)
Here the log:
Fri Dec 09 15:19:49 2011 OpenVPN 2.0.9 Win32-MinGW [SSL] [LZO] built on Oct 1 2006
Fri Dec 09 15:19:49 2011 IMPORTANT: OpenVPN's default port number is now 1194, based on an official port number assignment by IANA. OpenVPN 2.0-beta16 and earlier used 5000 as the default port.
Fri Dec 09 15:19:49 2011 WARNING: No server certificate verification method has been enabled. See http://openvpn.net/howto.html#mitm for more info.
Fri Dec 09 15:19:49 2011 Cannot load private key file Laura_XXX.key: error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory: error:20074002:BIO routines:FILE_CTRL:system lib: error:140B0002:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_PrivateKey_file:system lib
Fri Dec 09 15:19:49 2011 Error: private key password verification failed
Fri Dec 09 15:19:49 2011 Exiting
:/ I tried every possible solution but it doesn't work at all. thanks for every suggestion

Laura

Place your key files under the same folder as the config file.

That's the problem: the files are already in the same folder of config file...

Post the config file, and the directory listing of the folder where the config file resides with chmod shown.

i believe jadel uses windows not linux..
if you use win 7 use openvpn 2.1.4 or higher,2.0.9 is quite old..
also post your config..
ps: i noticed this:Error: private key password verification failed
did you protect the key file with password?
