I happened to chance upon the following link: http://openvpn.net/index.php?option=com_content&id=357
On that page, 2 installers for Windows are highlighted: "OpenVPN Connect Client Download for Windows" and "OpenVPN Desktop Client Download for Windows"
My question is: How are these 2 software different from "OpenVPN 2.2.1" whose URL is http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html ??
Which of the above 3 should I download?
Can someone tell me the difference between these 3 packages?

These are for access server:
http://openvpn.net/index.php?option=com_content&id=357
This is the community version:
http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html
Which client you need is dictated by which version of OpenVPN server you are running.

Well, I don't really know.
I bought a VPN service from a commercial VPN service provider about a year ago and the software that they provided me was version 2.1.3.
I stumbled upon this website a few months ago and discovered that the latest release to be version 2.2.1. I suppose it is the community edition.
I downloaded and installed it. I use the config files provided by my commercial VPN service provider and I was able to use their VPN service without any problems.
My question is: is there way to find out which version of OpenVPN server (access server or community edition) my commercial VPN service provider is running?

In 99.999% of cases, you will want the community version.
