I have an assignment due which I haven't started yet.. so I can't test my system right away. When I can, I will..
If in the meantime, you figure this out, please do post the solution, because if there's an error in my how-to I will need to fix it.
Don't take my how-to as being error-proof. I did test it at the time of writing, but it doesn't mean I didn't miss something.
I deconstructed that particular VPN, so when I rebuild it I will follow the how-to also.
