Hey,
I have recently run into an issue, where OpenVPN GUI is updating itself to the newest version.
We have two Windows 10 devices, that have the same issue with OpenVPN GUI client updating itself to the newest version.
We need to keep the OpenVPN version of 2.5.8 on the devices for frequent connections to a server out of our control. The client keeps updating to version 2.6.9 as of late starting few weeks ago.
Last time this happened was March 5th after we had just downgraded back to version 2.5.8 after an automatic update that happened over the weekend. In short, after installing version 2.5.8, the next day it had updated to version 2.6.9. End users had not used the connection in that time.
Is there a way to disable updates for the client or some event that would trigger a client update?
EDIT: It was patch management...
OpenVPN GUI autoupdating?
