I installed VPN Server on my Synology DS-718+ NAS in OpenVPN configuration.
My NAS is behind a FreeBox in router mode with a fixed public address xxx.freeboxos.fr and DNS 192.168.0.254.
On the client side I use OpenVPN Connect with full tunelling on my 3PCs running Windows 10 Pro.
To connect I put my smartphone in Access Point. So I have 2 active connections: WiFi and Tap-VPN with preferred DNS 192.168.0.254.
In VPNconfig.ovpn only dhcp-DNS option 192.168.0.254 is enabled.
I access everything on my NAS, PC network but I have no access to the WEB whatever the browser used: Firefox, Opera, Brave, Chrome. In Explorer, network discovery does not work.
Ipconfig gives me the IPv4 address of my VPN but I don't have a default gateway. I tried to force it with netsh without success.
I understand after reading many pages on this subject that it is a DNS problem but I can't figure it out.
Can anyone help me ?
