Hi there, my VPN client has been working without problem till I upgraded the OpenVPN client to 3.4.1 (5463). I believe there is some configurations unsupported. However before I remove these configuration, the Log file is empty. I tried to delete OpenVPN client and cleaned up VPN entries under iOS Setting -> General -> VPN & Device Management. Reinstall, but still no log file has been generated "You don't have any logs yet", or able to connect to VPN. It seems like there was no connection being initiated at all.
p.s. for sure I hit Pause, and Resume under OpenVPN client Log file windows, still no luck
iOS 17.1 openvpn client 3.4.1 no log, vpn not working

Try restart your phone. It worked for me.

Thanks. I am not sure what caused it, restart or upgrade. But I have just upgraded iOS to 17.1.1. The OpenVPN Client and log file are working now.

After updating to IOs 16.7.2, ver. 3.4.1 (5463)OpenVPN does not connect (error "Connection failed, Teher was an error attempting to connect ...")
Connection again established by changing "Settings" / "Advanced settings" / "Security Level" to "Insecure (Not recom..) ! ! !
Maybee not safe, but operational!

Hi LarsCNielsen,
I would look into making the necessary adjustments sever-side in order for the connection to be both safe and operational.
It could be that you are running a configuration with weak certificate signatures.(client logs will be of help in this case).
With Regards,
Joseph
