Firewalla OPENVPN very slow connection when copying big file

Is this how it goes if the file is very big? Even though I have 100 MBits/s at both ends?

I am using Tunnelblick as VPN Client, as recommended by Firewalla Support. Maybe if I use OpenVPN MAC client it will work better? Not sure if it supports import of the Firewalla .ovpn file, though.

Any other ideas? The VPN connection works, but does not work very well for big files.

This case is closed. It turned out the hardware was not powerful enough on the VPN server.
