Connection Timeout - DNS resolution error

Hi,

Am new here. Since yesterday I am getting "Connection Timeout" using OpenVPN Connect from my Android phone.



For months I have no problem but suddenly I got this error message yesterday. My VPN provider is Ivacy and tried both TCP and UDP profiles for different countries but none are working. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still same outcome. Already in the current version which is 3.3.4 (9290).

Would really appreciate any help on this. Thank you all in advance.

Hi uurck,

Since you are using VPN services from Ivacy who happens to be a 3rd party VPN services provider, it's best that you reach out to them regarding this issue.
It's more then likely that they have made some server-side changes to their host address or some other changes to their DNS policy that results in you receiving this error upon trying to connect.
