Connection reset,restart every few seconds after windows update

Hello,

I have been running the OpenVPN client for a long time on my windows laptop, without problems. However, after a windows update, the connection keeps resetting every few seconds. The log file shows

I am not running the server, but this changed from before windows update to after the update in a matter of an hour or so. So I doubt that something happened at the same time on the server side. I have seen posts in the internet with similar or the exact same error message and checked as many of the possible causes listed there as I could, but nothing changed this behavior.

Any pointers are appreciated.
