Does the latest version still require admin rights?

As per the topic really. We're on a slightly older version of OpenVPN which needs admin rights on the Windows desktops to work. We're looking at upgrading the server side and will also update the client side. Does the latest client still require admin rights to work as we'd like to remove local admin rights from workstations too.

Hello namdom,

For installation, yes, admin rights are required. For running the program, I don't believe admin rights are necessary anymore. There is a system daemon that takes care of the necessary tasks that require admin rights.

Kind regards,
Johan
