Turnkey OpenVPN Server configuration

Post by Paco439 » Thu Aug 18, 2022 5:39 pm

My objective is to have 2 interfaces on the OpenVPN server
eth1 - Public IP
eth2 - Private IP

Objective of VPN:
Remote Client -> Internet - -> Public VPN Interface -> Private VPN Interface - Private Network

When I use the Turnkey OpenVPN wizard to configure the server, it asks for the IP that is reachable by the clients and I give it the Public IP then it asks for the IP range to use to create the vpn tunnel. Once I give it that information, the OpenVPN web gui is accessible on the public IP. How do I build the server so that the openvpn gui opens on the private side but the clients connect to the public side?

I have looked at the HOWTO but I do not see where it talks about having a Public Interface and a Private. It just talks about port forwarding a private IP
