I'm a "4 Dummies" type user to this concept; I've used VPNs for work, but our IT gave me the step by step to install, run, & use it. I'm in Windows 10 & was Google searching an appropriate freeware (GNU et al) to have a VPN running while I'm online, for general privacy & security, including P2P. I got this exact error when trying to install OpenVPN, & found this forum when I searched it up; now I'm wondering if this will even work for Windows? Is there a way to use this service with Windows internal VPN (new in Win10, I believe); I'm running Windows 10(64bit) on a desktop Gateway PC..t have latest browsers: Chrome(usual) & Firefox(backup); my devicespecs are:
Device name CPMain
Processor AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics 2.00 GHz
Installed RAM 4.00 GB (3.44 GB usable)
Device ID DB20FF8D-5115-4D98-9214-810CF3EC22F6
Product ID 00325-80000-00000-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display
Is it possible for me to use OpenVPN for my needs, please? Can anyone oprovide me the step by steps to do this, pretty please?
