The OpenVPN community project team is proud to release OpenVPN 2.5.7. This is mostly a bugfix release, but adds limited support for OpenSSL 3.0. Full support will arrive in OpenVPN 2.6.

The "Official Debian repositories" still are not being built for current Debian versions.
What has to be done to change this?

Hi Rob,
See here:
https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=openvpn
Look at the particular version[s] that concern you, find the maintainer[s] and ask them.
I don't think we (the OpenVPN, Inc. company) handle these packages.
regards, rob0
