automatic disconnect when connecting to another user file

Post by kahrens » Tue May 31, 2022 9:11 am

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, I didn't find a similar thread.
we currently use the OpenVPN Community Client with an OpenSense Gateway and we have multiple config files(users) to connect to different costumer nets.

My question is, if there is any way to smoothly transition between using different config files, meaning that I just press "connect" and it connects without creating an error. Currently it is not possible in my environment as it always throws an error when connecting using a different config file when already connected to a user(/config). At the moment I have to press disconnect first before to be able to connect again. Is there a way to make this possible via certain settings or to create a script that disconnects my current user after pressing connect to use a different user/config?

Sorry if this has been a bit unclear but I think you can understand my problem.

Regards,
KA
