I am unable to access the internet whilst connected to the VPN

While using OpenVPN Connect I had no issues, I could freely connect and disconnect. In other words, it served its purpose. However, recently I have got a new router and it no longer allows me to access the internet. It comes up with "Local Area Connection 3 n/ No Internet access". From there, every time I attempt to load onto the website it comes up with "This site can't be reached"

Please help, I have no clue and I don't have prior knowledge of OpenVPN. I have used it for roughly three weeks and this issue occured maybe 5 days ago. I am in contact with administration support however I only found out the No Internet Access message was there one day ago, which I am yet to mention to them

Everything works fine in relation to the VPN access, but locally I can't access the internet.

Which means your VPN is working .. but your router is not working correctly.

Are you sure it's my router? If you're 100% sure please throw some solutions my way!

I have read the router manual and after weeks of trying to resolve the issue it is simply unknown. I've figured out it is not my computer or router as it allows NordVPN internet access, but not OpenVPN
