[Solved] Can't connect more than one Windows client

Post by nico2001 » Thu Mar 26, 2020 3:27 pm

Hi!
I have set up an OpenVPN connection on a Windows 10 client to a Windows 10 machine acting as a VPS (Virtual Private Server running OpenVPN as a server). So far so good, with the dev tun settings, nothing fancy.

The issue is that if I try to connect a second client to the server through OpenVPN, it gets the same IP adress as the first one which is 10.8.0.4. Have two machines with the same IP, the server (on the standard IP which is 10.8.0.1) can's respond to the first machine anymore, though it says it is still connected.

Any workaround ? DHCP configuration ? Assignmenf static IP (in the 10.8.0.0 pool) to the clients?

Help greatly appreciated.
Nicolas

Make a new certificate for your second machine.
