Waiting for server response...

macOS mojave 10.14.5

every time I change to a new wifi network, tunnelblick gets hung up on "waiting for server response".

I can solve this issue by turning off wifi, going into terminal and inputting:

sudo ifconfig en1 down
sudo route flush
sudo ifconfig en1 up

reconnect to wifi, then tunnelblick will connect to the server with no issues.

does anyone know how I can fix this so I do not have to do these commands every time I change wifi?
