OpenVPN Logon and Logoff scripts

Hi,

I am trying to implement a login and logoff script that emails me when someone connects to my OpenVPN server but when I add the lines below to my server.conf users are unable to authenticate anymore.

I am using certificate, user account & PAM for two factor authentication,

client-connect /etc/openvpn/statuschange.sh
client-disconnect /etc/openvpn/statuschange.sh
script-security 2

Any thoughts?
