Hi guys!
I'm really not a Debian expert, so please be patient!
I have a Jessie core on my OMV PC.
What I could do, installed the openvpn package, downloaded my config file, than I can connect to a service with 2 command:
$ cd /etc/openvpn
$ sudo openvpn server_name.ovpn
Is it possible to do it automatically? Can somebody link a detailed description?
On a NordVPN website I found something. They wrote I need to change the *.ovpn file name:
$ sudo mv /etc/openvpn/server_name.ovpn /etc/openvpn/server_name.conf
than I can edit the startup boot file:
$ sudo nano /etc/default/openvpn
Above the #AUTOSTART="all" I need to add a AUTOSTART="server_name" line.
It should connect automatically when I boot. Is it right? Is it possible to check the connection and reconnect if needed?
Thanks!
auto (re)connect
