Almost there... cannot authenticate to the server...

New guy #3,456,421 likely asking the same dumb question that has been asked a hundred times, but I'm at my wits end.

I've got OpenVPN up on the server and my client... I can ping my server from my client with the default 10.8.0.1 IP.

However, when I attempt to map a drive to my server, I cannot survive the windows login... I've tried with and without server name in the login...and I get access denied each time.

I've enabled NetLogon for inbound rules on the server side firewall... I've enabled file and printsharing on the inbound firewall.

But I just cannot survive the login box.

Plane jane almost entirely all defaults install, what am I missing? (Thanks in advance).

So you installed OpenVPN ok .. you just need to know how to use it ?
