Hi,
Newbie here. I have been trying to learn the precise difference between the VPN configuration types described as:
- Client configuration for an Ethernet bridge VPN
- Client configuration for a routed multi-client VPN
- Client configuration for a routed point-to-point VPN
- Server configuration for an Ethernet bridge VPN
- Server configuration for a routed multi-client VPN
- Server configuration for a routed point-to-point VPN
This is because I'm setting up an OpenWRT router with OpenVPN and it's asking for me to choose one of these configuration types. However, despite looking for half a day around the Internet I can't find a simple diagram or similar illustrating the difference.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Re: OpenVPN Configuration Types
What would be the goal would be the first question to answer...
I gloomily came to the ironic conclusion that if you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.

Re: OpenVPN Configuration Types
My goal is to learn what options there are.
When I first saw this diagram...
https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resource ... in-detail/
...I thought "Great, they are going to show the various ways you can run OpenVPN" but alas there's only one diagram.
The problem is that I know I will have to answer questions from my colleagues like "What does this mean" and I want to know how to reply.
