Possible Routing problem

Post by camnomis » Wed Aug 14, 2019 11:19 am

I have OpenVPN installed and configured as per https://www.digitalocean.con/community/ ... untu-18-04 and has been working perfectly for a couple of months, but all of a sudden it's stopped.

Client (ip address 192.168.x.x.)
Server (ip address 172.16.x.x)

I have a configuration on my server which when the client connects it uses the ip 10.8.0.x and the server gets the address 10.8.0.1, the logs show all is connecting fine on both the client and server. The client can ping 10.8.0.1 and any other clients that are connected.

However I can get nothing beyond this, nothing can route to any other associated LAN (172.16.x.x) or any other internet address.

I know it's cliche but nothing has changed (as far as I am aware), any idea where I should start in trying to resolve this?

Server.conf = https://www.dropbox.com/s/49ktxqep0youl ... .conf?dl=0 (11kb)
openvpn.log = https://www.dropbox.com/s/xc7e7de85vlm5 ... n.log?dl=0 (16mb)

Used this and solved the problem

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10923

UFW was disabled (I thought that would make things simpler not more complicated) enabled it and everything works again!
