Newbie question: can I setup on a Linux VPS?

Newbie question: can I setup on a Linux VPS?

I've just come across OpenVPN and have started reading into...

If I get a low level VPS, can I setup OpenVPN and use this server to access the internet?
The VPS will typically be low on resources and be bare minimum.

Yes, hundreds of tutorials around for OpenVPN on VPS.
