OpenVPN 2.4.6
Problem description:
After installation and configuration OpenVPN under Windows 10, server gets its virtual ip 10.8.0.1, but server's shared folders are not available through \\10.8.0.1 (though ping between client and server works fine)
Possible solution:
You need to bind your virtual TAP-Windows Adapter V9 to lanmanserver.
1. Get TAP-Windows Adapter's ID by using the following command line (Win+R -> cmd):
Code: Select all
wmic nicconfig get Description,SettingID
Code: Select all
\Device\Smb_Tcpip_{ID}
\Device\Smb_Tcpip6_{ID}
\Device\Tcpip_{ID}
\Device\Tcpip6_{ID}
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{ID}
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip6_{ID}
Is this behaviour a common issue for Windows 10, or it's just me who has experienced such problem?
